A Little Laugh on a Nasty Day...

Thought I'd give all of you a good laugh today since the weather is quite depressing. I usually want the hours to drag by because there is always so much to do, but today couldn't go by any slower. I'm actually ready to go to work today. I feel so couped up! Here is a picture of me when I was about as far a long with Dayton as I am right now with Mallory. Wow! Can you say heffer??? I would put a comparison pic next to it, but I see that I have successfully avoided getting into any pictures over the past few months. Glad I took the maternity pics - they are pretty much the only shots I have.

Anyways, thought y'all might get a kick out of this - I know I did. I was almost too embarrassed to post it!!!

34 1/2 wks - 4 1/2 wks to go!

Today I went in for yet another check-up. Everything still seems to be running extremely smoothly. Blood pressure was 110/66, urine test was good, I gained 1/2 lb. (which I think is a false reading - I'm sure I've gained more!), and Mallory's heartbeat is steadily in the 140s. I don't have to go back for two more weeks and then I'll be going back weekly after that until the day is here! At my next appt. I'll be getting my group b strep test meaning I'll be required to "wear a gown" - yuck! I have really enjoyed these 5 minute doctor's visits. Sad that they have come to an end but happy that they are leading to the birth of our second little miracle - can't wait!

Halloween is here!

Well, Halloween is in the air - we carved some pumpkins and the carnival is now behind us. Here are a few pics. Thanks for all the birthday wishes - it was a good day. Mallory has "dropped" quite a bit over the last 4 days or so making me extremely uncomfortable. I was exhausted after dancing last night, but it was great to have all of my family over at my mom's for fajitas which Brandon had picked up from Los Cucos. I got some great gifts and we ate some great food - fun times!

Date and Lucy watching cartoons the other morning:

Learning to do "Hook'em" by himself!

The costume contest:

We didn't win anything this year, but he was the cutest little Longhorn football player you'll ever see. He hammed it up, showing off his horns to everyone!

So happy to be in his uniform!

Thank you Aunt Alicia for the wonderful Halloween goodie bag. It was such a treat for me when I woke up from my nap on Sunday - Now if I can just get my mommy to stop stealing my chocolate ;)

Starting Her Off Early...

Mallory has already mastered the "Hook'em"...

Okay, not really - obviously by this woman's great looking belly and beautiful manicure, this is not me.

*Also, anyone who sees me on a regular basis knows I have the biggest outie around and it's my new signature. I'm in love w/ it - ask Brandon. I never like my outie to be covered - I like it to show through all my shirts - aren't I weird? When I was pregnant w/ Date, I had too much fat around that area to ever actually have an outie, so I'm very proud of my portruding belly button.*

I very randomly found it on another pregger's blog that I don't even read. Not sure where they came across it, but I thought it fitting for me. Love it!

Pumpkin Patch

Here is a quick post w/ pics from this weekend's pumpkin patch. It was wonderful - the decor, the pumpkins, the weather, everything! Dayton had a great time. No time for a "real" post, but thought I'd get these pics up anyways - have a great week!!!

A pic of our Happy Little Longhorn after our Too-Close-for-Comfort football game, but a win is a win, right? I don't know how me and Miss Mallory will handle the next few weeks. Brandon said good thing I have a low blood pressure usually b/c it was really elevated on Saturday afternoon...

A Shout Out to My Girls!!!

The Perfect Picture for Today's Post:

Just wanted to send wishes to two of my favorite people!

Happy Birthday, Traci! We hope you have a wonderful day today. The year that lies ahead is sure to be a fun and exciting one full of "firsts" for you and Charlie. We love you and wish you the bestest birthday ever!!!

Congratulations to Momma Jennifer and Daddy Jayson! We couldn't be happier for the two of you. Lots of preggers blessings are headed your way. Enjoy your journey over the next couple of months - it will go by fast but be unforgettable. You guys are going to make awesome parents. Maybe you'll have a boy and then Miss Mallory will have two boyfriends - Baby Vino and Baby Lepak!!! ;)

Doctor's Appointment Today...

Had a small doctor's visit today. Nothing too exciting. My appt. was at 11:30 and I was on the way home by noon. Update: Weight gain 1.5-2 lbs, Blood Pressure 110/65, Urine test normal, Heartbeat in the 140s. All is continuing to go wonderfully. He did do a blood count today to make sure I haven't gotten anemic since I was anemic w/ Date the first time around. We are still on for Monday, Nov. 30th - only 6 1/2 weeks away - yippee! I did ask him how long I'd be in the hospital if everything goes okay and he said two nights, so hopefully I'll be home on Wednesday. Excited for it to be here - it's really gone by fast. We've got a pretty busy schedule b/w now and then so hope I can be fully prepared for my Mallory's arrival. She is starting to stretch my poor tummy to the limits. Brandon and I were watching her stick some limb of her body out of my belly forming a small hill - weirdest shape I've ever seen - very pointed (can't even describe it good). Brandon feels sorry for her b/c he said she has to be uncomfortable. I think she's enjoying herself thoroughly b/c it feels like she's throwing a party in there...

Mr. & Mrs. Clint Zabodyn

Congratulations to Uncle Clint and Aunt Megan on their journey into life's next big adventure - marriage! We are so happy for them. Here are some pics from their big day:

The ceremony - simply beautiful:

Dayton was the ringbearer - he did well until he dropped a ring in the thick grass - whoops...

Mr. & Mrs.:

We were so happy to get to share their special day w/ them!

Too cute!

This is my favorite pic, but I caught Clint w/ his eyes closed - darn!!!

Me trying to get some artsy pics w/ the bouquet and rings...

We went back to the Zabodyn's for some more pics...

Congratulations, again to Clint and Megan :)

Pimpin' ain't easy...

That what his daddy taught him how to say tonight when we tried on his new tuxedo. This is his tux for Traci and Charlie's wedding in February. It needs a few alterations, but I thought he looked too cute not to post these. He was filthy dirty but we just had to try it on him! We can't wait for the big day!!!

*Speaking of big days - I mentioned earlier this week that Clint and Megan were engaged. Well, they're getting married tomorrow, so we are so excited for them. If I get any pics, I'll post them. It's going to be a simple ceremony at the Palt's house. We are so excited that Dayton now officially has an Aunt Megan :)

Landscaping...

Our landscaping has begun. We'll see how everything holds up, but we are trying! Dayton enjoyed "contributing" to the project. Fun times!!!
