Well, here is the rest of our Spring Break from last week...
So I'll pick up where I left off - Wednesday. On Wednesday, Daddy did get dressed and go to the library w/ us in the morning for the first time - it was a great time. Being that it was St. Patrick's Day, we all wore green. Here's Date's library outfit:

Mallory wore this outfit w/ a green and pink bow - I snapped this picture on Wednesday afternoon. Walked into our room to check on her while she was napping and here is what I found. I thought it was a complete fluke - figured that she pushed off the side of the crib w/ her feet or something so thought nothing of it (more to come on this rolling over business later)...

On Wednesday afternoon, Daddy stayed true to his promise and took Date golfing. The wind was a little much for Mallory, so they left us girls at home...

After golfing, we all got dressed in new, clean green attire and headed to Firehouse to celebrate St. Patty's Day w/ crawfish ;)
Thursday morning, I woke up and actually went to work for a while -shocking, I know. I was helping choreograph for Derby Doll officer try-outs. The weather was beautiful and the more I looked out the window at dancing, the more I realized we should let this day go to waste, so I called Brandon from work, cut my session short and headed home to pack the family up for the bay. We decided to stay Thursday night instead of Friday night so that we could enjoy two beautiful days down there - Thurs and Friday. Packing for four in less than an hour is not easy, but we managed to do it, grab a bite for lunch and head down to enjoy some nice outdoor time. We were there by 2:00 and had the rest of the afternoon evening to enjoy.
Here's what Mallory wore down there. She has so many cute summer clothes that I am just dying to put on her!!!!

Date got a pirate ship sandbox from DeDe and PaPa for his birthday. We took it down to the bay and got it put together. Dayton had the best time playing around outside and Mallory just relaxed and watched Mommy and Daddy argue over instructions for two hours... We did complete it though! Pretty cute!!!

So, Ms. Therese had a Kelly's Kids party a couple of months ago and I picked up the kiddos matching outfits. Had good intentions of getting some really good pics of them together on the pier and stuff but until Mallory can sit unassisted, that's just not going to work out. I could see her tumbling out of Dayton's hands on the pier into the water or marsh - yikes! These outfits will last them the summer, so I'm sure we'll try pics w/ them again really soon!!!

So back to this rolling over business - Miss Mallory is now officially rolling from front to back and I'm sorry to say I missed her debute. I was washing dishes in the kitchen at the bay and Mallory was on a blanket in the living room. Next thing you know, I here her fussing and Dayton says, "Mommy, Mallory roll over. She stuck." Sure enough, she was. I flipped her back and she did it again. Now, anytime you put her down on her back on a firm surface, she is rolling over and then screaming because she gets frustrated that she's stuck...
In the act...

Made it! (I have video of it. I'm gonna try to get it posted! It's cute!)

Here are some pictures from Friday morning at the bay. Brandon and Date managed to get the riding lawn mower stuck near the pier and Brandon proceeded to have to tow the mower back to the house using the mule - omg... We stopped at "PaPa's Junky-yard" on the way back in to town. Brandon played golf, again...

On Friday evening, we got dressed and went to the Nada fish fry again - super yummy! Fun times!

Saturday morning, we beat the weather and attended the Eggstravaganza. I got some decent pics of the kiddos. Dayton is not cool w/ the Easter bunny, but Mallory could've cared less, so we did manage to get pics of them w/ E. Bunny!!!!
Poor Mallory had no clue who was holding her - probably won't be so lucky next year...

The best Date was going to do w/ the bunny:

Date pets a bunny:

Mallory in a basket - it was pretty cute!

Date hunts his first eggs of the year - he's been practicing, so this was pretty exciting for him!

Proud of his loot - I'm loving this pic...

After the egg hunt, we rested a bit while the worst part of the weather passed through, then we ate lunch, got dressed and headed to Sugar Land for a little shopping and dinner at Benihana's.
Dayton was excited about going to Sugar Land - he even did the dirty bird in honor of our upcoming journey...

Dayton and Mallory were lucky enough to build a bear thanks to PaPa and DeDe who we met up w/ at the mall for a while:
Date built a golfing frog who he decided to name Tiger Woods - what is a Mommy and Daddy to do? Not really wanting to have that conversation w/ our 3 year old, so we now have a new frog named Tiger Woods...

Mallory built a flower bunny who PaPa named Sally. (That's Brandon's Uncle Jody holding her - we saw them at the mall, too!) Notice Sally's flowers on her ears - had to have some head gear just like Mally!!!

Loving us some Benihana's!!!

On Sunday, we woke up, went to church, ate dinner at Mikeska's and went home and rested for a while. Then started cleaning and panicking and doing stuff that I should've gotten done over Spring Break and didn't, but oh well. We had a great time. Ate some more crawfish last and then realized that our wonderful break had come to an end. Two months from today is the dance recital - scary thought! I am now in full Dance Recital mode from here on out. Mark your calendars - May 22nd at 7:00 p.m. for those who can make it ;)
Now our lives can get some what back to normal. I spent the majority of today cleaning out the kids closets (again) b/c as embarrasing as it is, we came home w/ lots of clothes for them on Saturday and couldn't even fit them all into either of their closets! Oh well - they are stocked up for summer - bring on the sunshine and heat!!!!
