Well, before time gets away from me, I wanted to post about Dayton. I know I am again extremely behind in the blogging world, but had to fill everyone in on my little guy – Dayton. Two Mondays ago, he broke his collar bone. Brandon broke his twice so it was nothing new to him. He did it while rough housing and playing football – just being a boy. It was just a matter of time before it happened. After x-rays in El Campo, he was sent to Richmond Bone and Joint to check out the damage. Nothing we can do for it, they told us. He’s in a sling for four weeks and then back to the doctor for more xrays. Besides the night that it happened (he was in quite a bit of pain then), he’s been such a trooper. The dude doesn’t say a peep about it. He just goes on with his business and acts like nothing happened. It’s starting to feel a little better so we are constantly on him now to STAY STILL – this is only after two week – I’m sure it’ll get worse by the time our four weeks is up! Aunt Amy hooked him up with some awesome slings – camo, flames, and furry neck strap covers. He loves them and I honestly think he is enjoying this extra attention. Anyways – had to document this huge milestone on the blog.
Our life right now is crazy – as usual. Why I ever thought moving studios during the month of December was a good idea, I will never know. But, we are trying our hardest to balance dance, moving, Christmas shopping and everything else that December brings. If only I could shake this killer cold that I’ve had since before Mallory’s birthday, I’d be in great shape. Open house at the new studio is THIS week, so can’t wait to have some pics to post from that. Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday time this year! ;)
They sent the cd with me of the actual x-rays but I can’t seem to open them on my computer – not sure what kind of files they are?
Right after we got the verdict which we knew was coming!
First pic with sling – the ones he has now are much cooler! ;)
At the Train that night in El Campo with Mally:
Isn’t he adorable – I just love him! Sweetest little boy I know!
I sure would love to get caught up before year end but we shall see – still need to post Halloween, Mallory’s bday, Grapevine trip, etc, etc.
