I don’t usually post videos, but came across this one and it is too beautiful not to share. I love Carrie Underwood and this duet with Vince Gill is breath-taking. Made me take a deep breath and say, “God is great.”

So, I left off on Friday – that takes us to Saturday. Saturday morning I woke up and was in my garage working on recital backdrop by 7:30 in the morning. Brandon offered me a pedicure for Easter so I took him up on it. Mallory and I cleaned up around 10 and headed to get pretty w/ MeMe. Daddy and Date played a little golf. When we all met up back at home, we grabbed some lunch and headed over to DeDe and PaPa’s for an afternoon of fun with DeDe, Papa, Aunt Samantha, Uncle Clint, Aunt Megan, Uncle Danny, Gary, PaPa Vasut, MeMe and Grandpa – what fun! We swam and ate and hunted more eggs and colored eggs and watched t.v – a very care free day with lots of sun – yay!
Check out my cute buggy!
Dayton is loving the water this year!

Time for another hunt:
More confetti eggs:
On Easter Sunday we all woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come and visited our house overnight! The kids were super excited.
Dayton got lots of “real” baseball goodies – t-balls, an aluminum bat, a new glove, some batting gloves and a bag to put it all in – along w/ some other odds and ends and candy. Mallory got Tangled, Dora’s Ballet Adventure, Dora pjs, and a Dora baseball glove and ball.
EB decided to hide all of the eggs in the living room this year and spare us the damp grass and the wind – smart bunny!
Even though Dayton fell asleep in the car on the way home from DeDe and PaPa’s, Mommy and Daddy still took care of the Bunny and left him a snack – good thing, I think he was quite hungry. He nibbled the heck out of all those carrots!
Checking things out:
He left a trail to the back door – just like last year! And, just like he used to do at Mommy’s house when she was little!
You can never have enough Dora pajamas:
After Easter Bunny fun, we all changed clothes and got ready for Mass.
After church, we changed clothes and went to Scott and Amy for a great lunch. Then it was out to the Grandpa and Grandma Zabodyn’s farm for crawfish and more egg hunting – whew! What a weekend!
Wouldn’t be a Zabodyn get together if it didn’t involve gambling:
Fun times – happy to finally be caught up in the blogging world!
