Well, football season is in the air and we are loving it! (minus a particular college team that we won’t go into detail on at this time b/c the wound is still fresh.) Anyways, despite my Horns and what looks like another disappointing season in which we continue to root for them, we are off to a great start to the season! Dayton’s football team was beat 14-7 in their opener two weekends ago, but won at home last week 33-0 – Go El Campo PeeWee! The Texans about gave me a heart attack last night but managed to get the job done. The Ricebirds are 2-0 to start their season. And after one week of fantasy football, I am happy to say I won highpoint and my match up for the week. Not too shabby – a lot of luck involved in that win and high point, but that’s okay, I’ll take it. I may lose every match up from here on out. And, to be honest, I’m not sure what the Pioneers’ record is but we are just happy to attend the pep rallies each week :)
So, here’s to lots of pics for a great football season to come! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Fall – so fun!
Some pics from Dayton’s first game last Saturday:
He’s the one on this end of the line:
Dayton against the big boy:
HeHe – this one makes me laugh – the big boy strikes again:
A little excitement out of Coach Zabodyn – Touchdown! (*Side note – they actually scored twice but one long run was called back b/c a call no where near the play which basically consisted of two kids tripping over each other ended up being a penalty against us – so close to a tie!)
And we stuck around to watch our favorite Junior QB, Brock:
And here are a few pictures from last Wednesday’s pep rally. Bryn is a member of the pep squad this year so I got a few pics of her cheering and during their routine.
And thank goodness I had my camera out because look at this super cute picture I caught of Mallory and Connor – we better keep an eye on them. Holding hands already ;)
Then came Friday Night Lights and a trip to Ricebird Stadium for some Ricebird football:
Dayton is in to dressing himself these days. This is usually his choice of attire. I really have no comment on this matter…
Then came Saturday and MORE football – Date had pictures before the game:
A little Longhorn photoshoot during the day. I am in LOVE with the Kate Elizabeth Collection clothing – super cute. I can only imagine what she’ll put out for Christmas. This outfit rocks my world! :
Dayton is the one squatting down the lowest – he played tight end the whole game for this game and since they scored so many points, he was loving being part of the offense ;)
Getting after it:
Can’t get enough of these pictures – I think they’re all so cute!
So Happy Football Season to all and to all a good night!
