Oh Wimberley (And Alicia & Neil) How I LOVE Thee!

To say last weekend was amazing would be an understatement.  It was awesome, epic, fantastic, relaxing, carefree, kid-free, friend-filled, hilarious, fun, exciting, etc. etc.  It was so great.  It was everything I was looking forward to and more.  It far exceeded my high expectations of what a wonderful weekend it would be.  I couldn’t be happier for the happy couple.  They both looked amazing and they both looked amazingly happy.  I’ve never seen Alicia look so relaxed and happy – wow.  It surely melted my heart.  The bride even described the weekend as “magical” to me after it was all said and done – how perfect is that?

Here are the pictures that are “blog appropriate”.  As stressed as I am right now, the only thing that makes me giggle is looking back at the pictures from the weekend.  We all look so HAPPY and college-kid like – ha!

Here we are on Friday evening.  So happy that the beautiful bride and groom graced us with their presence!  Our crib was amazing by the way – loved it!

Here is Addisyn and Ashley at rehearsal.  The wedding was at Old Glory Ranch and it was beautiful – the flowers, the weather, the atmosphere – everything was just lovely!

Serious poker players.  Too serious for me and Cassie…

I love this preggo, too!  She was quite a trooper throughout the weekend to put up with all of us and our shenanigans!

So that’s all I’ve got.  I feel like I haven’t said enough great things about the weekend but I could go on forever.  Thanks Alicia and Neil for letting us share in your special day.  I couldn’t have been more perfect and I can’t wait to hang out with Mr. and Mrs. Nesmith for years and years to come :)

Puppies, Play Dates & Play Ball…

So this is what we’ve been up to!  Let’s see, where to begin?  First off, I’d like you to meet the newest member of the Zabodyn Family.  And while she won’t be joining us for another month, we are all pretty smitten by her.  “She” doesn’t have a name yet – she’s a sweet little, dark haired (right now), runt maltepoo and we were are anxiously awaiting her arrival into our home :)  We are definently open to name suggestions – Please!

Mallory sure enjoyed getting acquainted but this little sweetie needs to put on a little weight before she’s ready for the wrath of Mally!

We were lucky to get to spend time with Cassie and Easton this past week.  On Thursday morning we took the kids to eat breakfast at Prasek’s and watch the fish.  It’s starting to become a little tradition for us and I love it.  I really, really wish we could do it more often!  No pics from Thursday, but Friday was quite the play date morning.  Dayton played hooky from school (or snooky as he likes to call it).  They got out early anyways and I figured he’d enjoy some playtime too.  So we picked up Cassie and Easton and headed to McDonald’s for some breakfast.  Then it was a trip to the park.  After the park, we went to the museum for Safari Club.  What a great morning!

After that, we took Cassie and Easton home and then played outside for just a bit with the new water table:

Dayton had a game on Friday night.  Here are a few pics.  He is loving it!

The weekend was spent glittering and painting and doing all kinds of recital stuff.  I’m making head-way so it was a successful weekend.  Time is slipping away from me, but I’m trying not to stress.  I will survive!
